More Than a Handful (SJ turns 6!)

We're back! Access to blogs has been difficult lately, but we were able to get through today and will try to catch up.

Sarah Jane had her 1st official birthday party with friends and she was thrilled! We asked her what she wanted to do for the party. . .remember she is turning 6...she wanted to eat spaghetti and have a pinata! That is what we get for asking!

So we had an "Around the World" birthday theme starting in the US with stops in Mexico, Italy, England, and ending in China. It was alot of fun for everyone!

The day started with breakfast in bed...a long running family tradition...

Time for the party!

First stop...Mexico..complete with a pinata, fiesta music and the 4th Amigo...

Jackpot!!

From there it was on to England...

And then time for presents!

and finally back to Shanghai for a Chinese fan dance...which kind of turned into the Mandarin Mosquito Mash!
